We are delighted to share the successful session of the AI Nusantara Roadshow, which took place on January 17, 2024 (Wednesday) at Business Theatre A in Kompleks Al-Farabi of UiTM Shah Alam. This was a joint effort by AI Nusantara, SIDEC (Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation) and AI Nexus SIG (Special Interest Group), AAGBS.
The event provided a unique platform for students to engage with industry experts and explore the myriad of possibilities in the realm of Artificial Intelligence. It was an enriching experience as attendees gained exposure to innovative approaches in navigating the dynamic landscape of current and future market spaces.
The highlight of the event was the FREE AI TRAINING COURSES offered to all participants. These courses, which included AI In Data Analytics & AI In Digital Marketing, were well-received by the attendees. We are excited to report that many students have taken the first step towards their career in AI by enrolling in these courses.
Following the training, there will be a JOB MATCHING process to help students kickstart their career in AI. We are optimistic about the potential of these bright minds and look forward to their contributions to the field of AI.
The AI Nusantara Roadshow was graced by the presence of three distinguished speakers who shared their insights and expertise on various aspects of Artificial Intelligence:
- Jess Low, the founder of Job Majestic, delivered an enlightening talk on the intersection of recruitment and AI. She shed light on how AI is revolutionizing the job requirement in the industry and the potential opportunities it presents.
- Louis Chee, the Business Development Marketing Manager of AI Nusantara, spoke about the Selangor Digital School. He highlighted the school’s initiative to provide free AI training courses, thereby empowering individuals with the skills needed to thrive in the AI-driven digital economy.
- Wai Meng, the Startup and SME Manager at SIDEC, gave a talk about SIDEC. He discussed the role of SIDEC in fostering a robust digital economy and its efforts in supporting startups and SMEs.
Each speaker brought unique perspectives to the event, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the current AI landscape and its future prospects. Their talks were well-received by the attendees, adding significant value to the overall experience of the AI Nusantara Roadshow.
