A CSR Project with Kechara Soup Kitchen

On 4 May 2019, a group of AAGBS MBA students (AA7003BF) participated in a CSR program in collaboration with Kechara Soup Kitchen Society. The program was held at Kechara Soup Kitchen, Off Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur. It was an assignment under the subject Global Business Issue and they decided to play a role in helping individuals and families who are in need. The CSR program was supervised by Dr Ainul Azreen. The students also had the pleasure of Dr Nazura Sayuti’s company.

One of the many initiatives made by the class in solving the problems faced by Kechara Soup Kitchen was to collect donations from AAGBS members i.e. students, lecturers and staff. Many kind hearted individuals from AAGBS had donated not only in monetary terms but also material such as food, clothing, personal hygiene items and medication. The participating MBA students felt grateful that they received many donations from individuals and AAGBS to be distributed to those less fortunate. These donations had helped in making the project a success. The students and AAGBS would like to thank Kechara Soup Kitchen for giving them the opportunity to give something back to society.
