Fundamentals of Shariah in Islamic Finance (FoSIF)

Fundamentals of Shariah in Islamic Finance (FoSIF) emphasizes on the application of Shariah principles and contracts in Islamic Finance as well as the fundamental concepts and principles of Fiqh Muamalat. A 5-Day Modules is open for both local and international participants. The certificate enables participants who do not have degree in Islamic Banking or Islamic Finance (or its equivalent) to fulfil the pre-requisite requirement in embarking Master of Islamic Banking and Finance (MIBF) program at AAGBS or similar program offered by other Universities accredited by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).

Ability and competency to:

  • Explain the fundamental knowledge in Shariah
  • Discuss theoretical and practical aspects of Shariah in Islamic finance
  • Appreciate Shariah requirements application in Islamic finance
