Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School, UiTM is the first university offering MIBF (Coursework) in Malaysia. UiTM is aspired by the Malaysian Government’s aim to make Malaysia the global Islamic financial hub. In realizing this, a sufficient pool of experts in Islamic banking and finance must be developed. Hence, this program is introduced to provide universally accepted expertise in Islamic banking and finance and meet the increasing manpower requirement locally and globally.

Entry Requirements

1)  Mode of Study : Full Time

a)       BBA (Hons) (Islamic Banking/Finance or its equivalent from related disciplines) from UiTM with CGPA at least 3.00

b)       BBA (Hons) (Islamic Banking/Finance or its equivalent from related disciplines) from any local or foreign universities with CGPA at least 3.00 or its equivalence

2)  Mode of Study : Part Time

a)        BBA (Hons) (Islamic Banking/Finance or its equivalent from related disciplines) with CGPA 2.80 and above is preferred.

b)        Candidates must have a minimum of 3 (three) years or more working experience at a professional, Islamic Banking, Finance and Shariah (muamalat)

c)        Ability to write and converse well in English

Mode and Duration

This full-time and part time programme is divided into two phases:

Phase 1 (6 months intensive programme)

This programme serves as a foundation for candidates who do not have an undergraduate degree in Islamic banking, finance and shariah (muamalat)

Phase 2 (18 months)

This programme is for those who have successfully completed Phase 1 and for candidates whose first degree is in Islamic banking and finance.
