2017
Presented a paper at London Winter Business Research Conference, Imperial College, London (11-12 December 2017). Paper entitled “Operational Excellence through Process Improvement at UiTM”. Won the ‘Best Paper Award’ by International Review of Business Research Papers Journal and later on published by the journal.
2018
Started a one-year industrial attachment at Joint Accreditation System of Australia & New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) from 1st. April 2018 to 31st. March 2019.
The Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) helps markets work better by providing internationally recognized accreditation services that create economic benefit. It provides accreditation assessment of certification and inspection bodies for conformity to JAS-ANZ assessment criteria; develop assessment criteria that must be met before certifiers and inspectors can gain JAS-ANZ accreditation; manage and administer schemes by providing a framework for efficient management of schemes on behalf of scheme owners; and provides peer review services through review activities of other accreditation bodies, to verify conformity with International Accreditation Forum (IAF) criteria.
Appointed as Project Leader for a Delphi Study on Auditor Education for the 21st Century. Team members comprise of Prof. Nigel Grigg from Massey University (New Zealand) and Prof. Daniel Prajogo from Monash University (Australia). Apart from being project leader and chief investigator of the project, other activities during the attachment were networking visits with the industry in Australia, speaking engagements and sharing sessions with the industry, presenting papers at conference and meetings, visiting scholar at Massey University, New Zealand, and conducting training session for management and staff at Canberra and Wellington offices.
