Being a participant in the exchange student program between UiTM and Woosung University, South Korea, is one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I got to try a lot of things that I never did before in my life. Plus, going to Korea has been one of my wishes and with this program, I could go to Korea while experiencing the student life there. I was quite sad that the University is not located in Seoul (I have always wanted to go there) but surprisingly Daejeon has many interesting and pretty places that you could explore too.
As an exchange student at Woosung University’s Solbridge International School of Business, I felt welcomed and made many lasting friends there. Being an international business school, its student population consists of people from various countries. In class, lecturers encourage students to communicate and ask them anything that they don’t know about. Plus, I also had the opportunity to learn the Korean language by going to the class provided in Solbridge. Thanks to that, now I can read hangul words and improve my Korean speaking skills. The student committee also does a lot of tours for students. This allowed me to explore several cities in Korea such as Seoul and Busan.
From my experiences, I highly recommend the student exchange program at AAGBS to my juniors as the program enriches a student’s life in more ways than one can imagine. When else will you get to experience these things if not now?
