Global Experience | Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School

11 months at AAGBS in Shah Alam have given me a great opportunity to receive a deep insight into the Malaysian culture, to explore the country and to get to know the Malaysian business environment while pursuing my dual master’s degree in General Management and Business Administration.

Interesting and diversified lectures allowed me to exchange views with the Malaysian lecturers and my fellow students on business practices, the economy and the differences in culture between Germany and Malaysia. Fieldtrips and business talks with guest speakers from various industries supplemented the lectures and provided us students with the opportunity to apply what we have learnt during the lectures.

After the lectures at AAGBS, I spent a lot of time with my fellow students, exploring the Malaysian cuisine, playing tennis at the UiTM campus, going for karaoke and bowling nights, strolling around the big shopping malls and immersing into the hectic life of Kuala Lumpur. At the weekends, I enjoyed the Malaysian hospitality while travelling around Malaysia and was overwhelmed by its rich culture.

The dual degree programme of my home university HFT Stuttgart and AAGBS at UiTM Shah Alam enriched my personal as well as my professional life and gave me a chance to widen my horizon.

A unique experience not to be missed!
