Being a participant of the dual degree program of AAGBS and HFT Stuttgart during the pandemic of Covid-19 was a challenging yet very rewarding experience. Unfortunately, it was not possible for me and my fellow students from Germany to come to Malaysia and study on campus at AAGBS. But nevertheless, I had a lot of interesting experiences and learned a lot about the Malaysian culture. I was very positively surprised how much contact I had with the lecturers and Malaysian students although everything had to be organized online and the fact that I was in Germany the whole time. During lectures, groups works, and online meetings I got to know my fellow Malaysian students. We exchange students were warmly welcomed by all our lecturers as well as the other students. Everyone was very helpful, and I experienced a lot of support during the journey of studying online in a foreign country.

It was very interesting to get to know the study system of Malaysia and I benefited a lot from seeing and learning different approaches. All my lecturers shared their huge knowledge in a very interesting way and helped me as an exchange student to adapt to the system that was unfamiliar to me and to master new tasks. I had the chance to broaden my knowledge and perspective thanks to this double degree program and I am very thankful for all the support I received during this journey. I can only imagine how great it would have been to come to Malaysia, meet everyone in person and experience the amazing culture of Malaysia.
